Ahammed Hashim, MD, FCCP
Dr. Hashim completed his medical schooling at the premier medical school of India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut. He went on to do fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine at the same university. After completing his training he worked six years as a consultant in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in Hartford, Connecticut. During this time period he also fulfilled the role as a teaching attending for medical students and residents of the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Hashim is ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. His areas of interest are Asthma, COPD, Pulmonary Hypertension, all aspects of Critical Care and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Binusha Moitheennazima, MD
Dr. Moitheennazima is a graduate of the prestigious Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at University of Connecticut. She was also a Chief Resident at University of Connecticut. Following her Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship,She underwent fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at University at Buffalo.
Dr. Moitheennazima is ABIM board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Her areas of interest are Chronic lung diseases and Sleep disorders.
Dr. Hashim and Dr. Moitheennazima have two boys - Haafiz and Haris.
